Hello Teresa ,

Could you get me some information regarding Fidelity National  home warranties ?

  1. What is the percentage of claims that your company pays out on annually ? (2007 figs)
  2. What does fidelity National tell homeowners regarding verification of the state of their home and warranteeable items when they purchase the warranty ? What documentation is required ?
  3. Does FN have a  'pre-existing conditions ' clause in the contract, and if so, how can a homeowner prove that a condition was not pre-existing when making a claim ?

Thanks !

Hi Philip -Good questions because their newsletters aren't directly associated with their warranty/other products-(newsletters are provided as a marketing tool/service for professionals and them no doubt) I can't provide specific product information with any degree of certainty so here are 3 options to try to get your questions answered:

    1. FAQ - Fidelity Home Warranty Plans and Service FAQ are provided at this link > http://www.homewarranty.com/homeowner/faqs/?homewarrantySession=e2322e8d800c0f00e87a6296ffc6af56
    2. If FAQ page does not have all the info you'd like -
PHONE INQUIRY NO. their website says to call 1-800-862-6837 for other/specific questions.
    3. ONLINE INQUIRY FORM: Fidelity also provides an online form for questions/inquiries @ http://www.homewarranty.com/contact_us/?homewarrantySession=e2322e8d800c0f00e87a6296ffc6af56

Philip I hope this helps and do let me know if they're able to answer your questions for you. Cheers!

Thanks for the info. I often have prospective customers who want a FREE option, so I will be happy to refer them to this site.

For those of you who want to be able to personalize your print newsletter -- or better yet -- go EMAIL, check us out. As most of you know, printing and postage costs can really get steep, and more people now read email newsletters than print. It's the future.

Sure Lisa-  this post was recently revisited so I thought I'd update with a sample of this months newsletter ( January 2009 )- some useful tips and info with lots of color. once you register and set up your personlization settings - you can relax until your download link arrives in the email each month from Fidelity National - then just  click to pick it up online and share with your people - i think it's a sweet marketing peice. hope you enjoy.
