Teresa, I learned about Slide.com here in the Rain also. I use it all the time and it is great.

Hey Teresa ~ Is it pretty easy to use? How expensive is it? Is it like realestateshows.com? I will have to go and check into it. Vickie

Hi, Teresa,
I came to comment, and your pages seem to take forever to load. I wonder what's slowing down your blog.

Hi Jimmy - glad you've had an opportunity to use it They have a lot of options...even music now but I was attempting to test the waters for comparisons sake, and there were so many choices! (like a kid in the candy store, an old kid that is) I chose one that was enough different than others created @ other sites to sample. In the end I really like the slide effect very much, and probably even more with a tune added. Thanks for saying hello. Cheers! Teresa
Vickie - yes it is the best price available:) Free that is. I love your postlet tip Thanks! I have been there but didn't think about it for the Craigslist ad. Good One! We'll keep each other up to date and on our toes with all this fun stuff it's hard to pick and choose so I am ready to try 'em all. Thank You Vickie!!!! We need some more hours in the day don't we!
Mike- I'm sorry the blog was taking long to load...when I got back to the computer it seemed to be caught up tonight. Loaded quickly so not sure what the hold up was or is. I'm hoping it was temporary...if you do visit again in the future and notice it still loads really slow it would be great if you could let me know. Maybe the extra code I've posted lately has an effect (I don't know much about the techy stuff) thank you for taking time to stop by and even more to let me know about the delay.
Cheers All!

I've used Slide.com for a bunch of slide shows. Never for a virtual tour though.
I think there is something about it that makes their slideshows look brighter and fresher and crisper (even with MY photos.) than other slide shows/ virtual tours.

Hi Maureen I agree very crisp and clean look - and here you've known about it all along gf! there's probably room for all of these different looks depending on where you're marketing or posting - so fun to see possibilties and be able to mix it up a bit.

Teresa,
It's running slowly still, but it's better than it was yesterday. Do you have a relative in Tucson named Maria Berry? She works for our company at another branch.

Better is GOOD thank you Mike! I don't have a relative in Tucson as far as I know (though I do have a friend or two there at least pt) but if she's good people....I'm always open to adopt another kid/family member. I do have a huge family scattered all over the states but "Berry" in-laws mostly in WA an Ohio I think. Of course as time marches on...it's hard to keep tabs on where everyone branches off to and it's a very small world. Thanks for getting back to me on my blogs loading problem.

I have been looking at a few slide shows and I like the results of windows media player. What is the trick to upload these on the blog?

I've been trying to use the slide.com shows on my Active Rain blog but they don't show up after embedding and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

Ron the trick is to copy the html code - so usually it means using a program that will give you the code to copy and paste....slide.com is one of those and there are others but see the comment to Judi below also ( it may help explain a little more)
Judi - I am guessing? but see if this works....
Create your slideshow -
Copy the html code (I think the "blogger" code works here on AR)
Now - Before pasting the code - CLICK on the "HTML" TAB it's next to the WYSIWYG Tab at the top of the entry area....
Then Paste the HTML code in the entry area, and "save" as usual.
Let me know if it works....I think the step you need may be just that HTML Tab before you paste....but let me know. (Example below of the tab you want to click)
