“Scriptina”
Free font by Apostrophe
FREE download available at
About.com - Desktop Publishing
I just discovered a font named “Scriptina” at About.com:
Maybe I'm too easily amused but - after installing and typing the
header signature above, I'm so excited that it's so remarkably similar
to the font used from mylivesignature.com

What are Free Fonts? What is Shareware?
Answer: - “no charge for personal and/or commercial
use”
- from About.com Free Fonts Library -
FREE – that’s what I like About.com that!

Teresa~ I love the look of it too and free is one of my favorites.
Hey Lisa - you and me both on the freebies! Have a great night!
Teresa, I'll sat it again, you find the most interesting stuff. I like free too.
Thanks Jaqueline! that's in part due to keeping your night owl schedule these days (smile) and I agree with Free!
Teresa~ can you give me instructions for downloading this font with Windows Vista?
Lisa I don't have Vista but the steps for XP may be similar?
1. Download the font to your desktop (it should be a zip file once on your desktop)
2. Click on the zip file to open
3. There should be a place when the folder opens that says "Extract all files"
if so (we hope) then click that and it will bring up an screen ready to extract to your choice destination -
If it does (again we hope?) you'll want to make sure it's set to extract to your font file -
- In XP the fonts are found by going to "My Computer" then "Appearance,Themes", and Fonts are on the left sidebar - not sure about Vista though.
Maybe Vista will have a easier method once you download the zip file to your desktop?
Sorry that I don't have any experience with Vista but let me know if you get it figured out.
Cheers! and do let me know if it works.
Sounds interesting but I'm too sleepy to sit and figure it all out tonight . I love cool looking fonts. Thanks for the info!
Teresa, thanks for sharing this. I'm always looking for special fonts. This one might come in handy.
Great Lizette - I think you'll like those freeware fonts when you get over to check 'em out
Bob - I hope you find some fonts to add to your collection :)
Thanks for sharing - FREE is my favorite word!
Sure Norma - Free is one of my favorite words too!
You know how to satisfy the urges of the font nerds (which includes me.) I have more font bookmarks than I care to admit. I just wish I were better at employing them. I have an eye for what looks good and less of a flair about making that look happen. Some of the best design out there relies heavily on the elegance of type and the resisted urge to over-do the graphics. (that's my design opinion of the day.)
