I lost a short sale on Friday... my clients were able to have their mortgage re-negotiated with the lender that was threatening foreclosure... we couldn't be happier. With a short sale- success is defined as getting the home sold and avoiding foreclosure... But... the clients lose their home. I'd rather they not have to sell their residence unless they want to.
